Agreement
with Green Door drug policy.
Green Door certifies
that it is a drug-free workplace. All employees must sign a policy
statement that prohibits use, dispensing, sale, being under the
influence of, transfer of, or possession of illegal drugs, narcotics,
and alcohol in the workplace. Employees will be required to submit
to drug and/or alcohol testing when there is a "reasonable
suspicion" that they have used. Employees must also notify
Green Door of any criminal drug statute conviction at time of hire
and certify that they are not currently using illegal drugs.
Criminal
records check.
Completion of
a criminal records check is required by District contracts. Employment
is contingent on completion of a criminal history check in D.C and/or
other states in which the employee resides or has resided, and in
Federal districts All final candidates for employment must authorize
Green Door to complete a criminal history check on hire. Green Door
is prohibited from employing a person who has been convicted of
a felony.
Certification
that employee is free of communicable disease.
This is due
one month after hire and requires a TB test.
Current
driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to drive
is required. Driving record should be brought on the first day of
employment. Applicants who have recently moved to the DC area will
be required to bring a driving record from their home state. Employee
must be insurable with Green Door's insurance carrier.
